Trying clearing your caches, then. Go to Safari Preferences --> Advanced and at the bottom, check "Show Develop menu in menu bar." Then go to Extension and disable any that you have installed. Then go up to Develop --> Empty Caches. Go back to that website and see if the GIFs load.
FWIW, if you do a Google Image search for "animated gifs", and click on several, you will see some animate and some don't regardless of which browser is used. The ones that animate do so in Safari, Firefox, Chrome, etc.
What website(s) are you on where this is happening? Have you tried clearing your caches to see if that helps? Do you have any extensions enabled?

I haven`t cleared caches and as far as I know I don`t have any extensions.
Problem is that it worked one day, and the next it didn`t. I have, to my knowledge, not done anything
I will try that in the morning, have to go to sleep now.
Thanks for the help.
I have forgot to mention that when I click on a link, that leads to a gif, the gif downloads so I´ll have to watch it in VLC, instead of in the browser... Thats really annoying
Try clicking on this link…
You can block gifs? How? I am considering using Safari, but I have sensory processing disorder, and migraines, and need to block the infernal pain-images.
