Q: iMovie for Ipad: Transparent Lower Thirds?

I have created a lower third using After Effects.  I have rendered it as an RGB+Alpha .mov.  The file can be brought into iMovie for my Mac and utilized.  What I am trying to determine is can I use it with iMovie on my iPad.  I am able to bring the .mov file in vial the iCloud however when it does it converts the file and I lose the alpha channel therefore dropping a black background in.

Is there a way to use an transparent lower third in iMovie on IOS?

iPad Air, iOS 9.2.1

Same question... I now have the iPad Pro, and am surprised at the lack of pro features in any of the iOS video apps.  I read that Avid Studio/Pinnacle for iOS supports this, I"m actually downloading it now to try that out.  It would be great for Apple to bake in a feature into iMovie for iOS to allow for RGB+Alpha support for transparent backgrounds, and maybe for advanced users, a way to create our own lower third templates instead of the stock ones.
