How to control TV display when streaming music

Just bought an Apple TV. I figured out how to stream playlists from my iPod directly to the Apple TV. But how do I control what shows up on the TV screen? Now, when I first turn on the playlist, a frame with the album art and song info displays on the TV screen. This image flips from right to left, and then, after about a minute, a slide show of stock photos begins. If I press the "menu" button on the remote, I can get the song info back, but it doesn't stay. Eventually, the slide show comes back. My two questions are:

  1. What if I don't want to see the slide show? Can I set it to display only the song info?
  2. If I do have a slide show, how can I substitute my own pictures?

Please help the newbie! 😕

Thanks to Rudegar and Vinceassociate, I figured out how to turn off the screensaver.

To my second question -- I believe it is possible to use my own photos in the screensaver. But (Vince) the link you provided, does not tell me how. Is there another article devoted to this? I saw mention of using photos from the Cloud. Is that the only way? I thought I could sync up with an album located on my pc or iPod.

I appreciate the help.🙂
