Can i transfer word or excel files from my mac to my iPad

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to transfer Word or Excel documents currently filed on my Mac, to my iPad through iTunes?

Transfer documents ... through iTunes? No. Via other methods? Sure.

One way may be AirDrop - depending on your hardware and iOS versions.

Another way is email. There would be other ways ... depending on what applications are accessing these files on your iPad.

You need a compatible app on your iPad.

Apple Numbers, Keynote and pages will open MS documents and y can use iTunes's File Sharing to sync them to your iPad

You can use a cloud app like DropBox or Apple's iCloud drive
