Q: Iphone 6-plus itunes activates itself with car's bluetooth

Sorry,...wasn't sure how to word an accurate subject line.  I have a 2015 GMC Yukon with bluetooth audio and *EVERY* time I sit down in my car and start the engine, my phone and my car agree to torture me by opening up my itunes and blasting the first song in my library. (For my sins, it is "ABC" by the Jackson 5 downloaded by my lovely wife. I like MJ - but the track now plays in repetitive **** in my head).

Makes no diff if the app was previously opened on my phone or fully closed out. It opens and plays on it's own.   Ahhhh!!!!!

What to do?  ...thanks  - you guys rock.

PS - track 2 is "Abilene" by Sheryl Crow since I know you were wondering.

    Hi Adam,

I was wondering :)   It sounds like the activity might be triggered by your vehicle, especially if you force quit the Music app.  Can you check the manual to see if there are any auto-play settings you can adjust?  Are you listening to playlists?  If so, the music should resume where you left off in the playlist instead of the first song in your library.   Finally, are you listening to music stored on the device or are you streaming it from Apple Music?  If you turn off cellular data for Music on your iPhone, this might help as well.  Let me know if any of these options worked for you.
