Q: Can't reset iphone because my old ID doesn't exit anymore

Hi everybody (and sorry for my english), I have a strange problem with the relationship between my iphone and my apple ID.

I had an old apple ID, and my iphone 4S was configured with that ID. The "find my iphone" was activated.

Then I took a new phone, and forget about the 4S.

After some months, I had to change my email (passed from hotmail to gmail), but my old ID was related with the old mail (hotmail).

So, I changed also the name of the ID and now my ID is associated with the new mail (gmail): the account is the same, but the mail is different.

Some days ago I gave my 4S to my brother, and before of gave it to him I initialized it.

But (and this is the problem), when he started to configurate the 4S, it wanted me to insert the old ID and its password to deactivate "find my iphone" and pass from my ID to my brother's.

The point is: that ID does not exist anymore. The name of the ID is another, and the original mail is erased. I tried to log with my new account and it didn't work.

If i go on the Apple ID page on apple's site and try to log with the old mail, it says that the account does't exist.

So, what can I do to unlock my phone?

Thank you so much!
