Q: iMovie uses too much memory
Hello! We deleted projects and clips in iMovie so only 30 secs remains. Still iMovie use 4.9 Gb iPad-memory for documents and data. Please advice us how to release that memory.
iPad Mini, 16 Gb, IOS 9.2.1, iMovie 2.2.1
Best regards!

Hi Sundborg,
Did you restart your iPad after deleting the projects and clips you had in iMovie? If the data is still showing on your iPad, you can delete it by deleting the iMovie app.
First, make a backup of your iPad via iCloud or iTunes, and export whatever data you currently have in your iMovie app as an added precaution.
Then delete, the iMovie app and restart the iPad mini. Once you've confirmed the data has been cleared, you can redownload the iMovie app if you wish. Click on the links below for additional information.
How to back up your devices using iCloud or iTunes
Check your storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Depending on the app, you might be able to delete some of its content, or delete the app and all of its content.
Take care,
