Why i can not connect my macbook air through hdmi with my tv?

Good evening,

I would like to ask a question. Until yesterday i could connect my macbook air through hdmi adaptor (macally) to the tv.

But today i tried to do the same today and i have not picture in my tv.

Can you give me a solution?
