battery life on a new macbook

Hi everyone,

I am seriously thinking of new Macbook for my wife, I already have few laptops including the Retina 15 inches and the Apple macbook Air 11 and 13 inches, the whole house is crawling with laptops and Imacs .

I must say that I was never bothered with the Battery life on my devices since i am a heavy user and i do understand that even the lame Google chrome ***** out the life of the laptops..but here I am dealing with a wife who travels a lot and needs a super laptop with Windows 7 installed as well , since there is one application that needs windows 7 .

Yet, the IT department at her workplace tries and tries to stop her from buying the new Macbook , I honestly think that the hardware is perect and the screen is amazing..Am I wrong about it?

Any of you out there that has a new macbook , any thoughts? thanks
