Terminal script results below for Frozen and then Sluggish Cursor

MacBook Pro 13" late 2011. OS X El Capitan 10.11.2. 2.7 GHz Intel I-7 Processor. Memory: 16 GB 1333 DDR3. Mercury SSD 487.87 GB.

3 days ago cursor froze. Following steps taken without success: reboot; command/option/P/R/power; removal & reinsertion of battery; and SMC Reset. Today, cursor "unfroze" and became sluggish. Able to get into Disk Utility and run First Aid on both Memory and SSD with no changes.
