iPhone stopped working

I'm currently using iPhone 5 with iOS 9.2.1 . And whenever I accidentally pressed the notification centre on the assestive touch, my phone would just stop working in that apps. For example, I'm using Instagram, and i pressed te notificatio centre on the assistive touch, I can't go to homepage or others apps. but when i lock my screen, it just goes black but my siri, i can hear ringtone when people calling me. And this until I pressed home button and lock screen button only then become back to normal. But it comes again when I pressed It again. It happens to me two times today. how to solve this?

It sounds like there's an intermittent issue with your iPhone 5 not responding after attempting to view notifications in some apps. If you haven't already, try the general app troubleshooting tips in the article below.

If an app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open - Apple Support

Restart the app

Close the app and open it again.


Restart your device

Turn your device off and back on.


Check for iOS and app updates

  1. Make sure that you're using latest version of iOS.
  2. Open the App Store and tap Updates.
  3. If updates are available, tap Update All.
  4. If asked, enter your Apple ID password.
