I understand that after a drop, your daughter’s iPhone is no longer responding to touch on the display.
In this situation, I would first recommend some basic troubleshooting to see if we can get the touchscreen to respond. The following article will walk you through these steps.
If the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch doesn't respond to touch - Apple Support
If the issue remains unresolved, it may be necessary to have the iPhone evaluated for service by an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
