Feb 22, 2016 3:05 PM in response to sejahaniby judysings,Hi sejahani,
It sounds like you are trying to install iTunes for Windows for the first time on your PC. The resources below will provide some troubleshooting steps for the issues you are having with the installation. Are you running the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows?
Software:
- Windows 7 or later
- 64-bit editions of Windows 7 and Windows 8 require the iTunes 64-bit installer; for more information, visit www.itunes.com/download
If you can‘t install or update iTunes for Windows
Take care,

Feb 23, 2016 3:13 AM in response to izzyinn1by turingtest2,Try repairing Apple Software Update from the Programs and Features control panel, then reinstall iTunes.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.
Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library and device backups should be unaffected by these steps but there are links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

Feb 23, 2016 5:38 AM in response to Romel1984by turingtest2,Such errors can usually be fixed by deleting the offending dll, then repairing the component it is part of from the programs and features control panel. CoreAudioToolbox.dll is part of Apple Application Support and can normally be found in
- C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support or
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
where the name of the Program Files folder may vary by region.
Otherwise see my previous post to the thread and repeat the full uninstall reinstall process.
