Q: I need to get a video card where I can see the post start up information.

I have an older power mac 1.1 version running under mac OS 10.10.  I need a video card where I can see the post computer information as it boots up.

PowerMac, Mac OS X (10.0.x)

Are you saying there is no video card in it now?

Does Verbose boot not show that info?

    1. Shut down your Mac.
    2. Press the power button to start up your Mac.
    3. Immediately hold down the following keys:
    • Hold down Command key & V key for verbose mode.

It isn't quite clear which OSX you're running... certainly not 10.10, but 10.0.x?

I'm confused along with with BDAqua---no PowerMac can run OS 10.10. Do you have a Mac Pro?

They look very similar but notice that a Mac Pro has two optical drive doors where the PowerMac G5 has one drive door. Otherwise the two models are very different on the inside, so knowing what Mac you have is going to be pretty important to the community giving you applicable recommendations.
