Q: Aperture removed when upgraded to OSX El Capitan

I upgraded my OS to El Capitan and now I can't access Aperture and all my photos. how do I get Aperture back or at least all my photos that were stored in it's library?

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Try to update Aperture to version 3.6, see this User Tip: Updating to Aperture 3.6 After the Release of Photos

If that is not possible, because you have been using Aperture 2, migrate your Aperture Library to the new Photos for Mac app, that comes with El Capitan. This will allow you to access all your photos, see Apple's document: How Photos handles content and metadata from iPhoto and Aperture - Apple Support
