no summary or backup option available for my iPhone to backup to my iMac
How can i make iTunes see my iPhone to back it up?
iPhone 5s, iOS 9.2.1, no backup option
restarted iMac and iPhone, still no better. Tether iPhone to iMac and iTunes DOES NOT auto start. So I start iTunes and the device appears but NO SUMMARY displays and BACKUP option is grayed out. Only prompt is do I want to restore from my iPad (um, NO) and do I want to set up a new iPhone device. As I comprehend this question, it is thinking my 2 year old iPhone is new. I don't know what the next screen will be like but this is not a new iPhone. Maybe the text should read differently for my comprehension. It seems like it's never seen my iPhone previously, but it has.
