Feb 21, 2016 9:01 PM in response to Nielby _xx_alex_xx_,So basically its bricked? Now that I know this what should I do with it now? Wait for an Activation Lock bypass? Wait til he takes it off his ICloud account? (Which he probably never will as he will probably use it to bug me) My only way of contact would've been through this IPod, all his contact information wouldn't been stored onto there and my parents don't have any of their contact information. Although I see Apple was just trying to be safe by doing things like this, it may help a few customers but also screw a few more in the process :/

2. Let its battery run out, or put it somewhere where it can’t be heard.
3. There won’t be one. The activation lock is an anti-theft measure.

Feb 21, 2016 9:17 PM in response to Nielby _xx_alex_xx_,Idk, maybe there will be given time, there already was a semi-bypass using a DNS server, I'm not sure if you heard about it, but just given time maybe there will be a way to bypass it.

Feb 21, 2016 9:33 PM in response to _xx_alex_xx_by gail from maine,There will never be a way to bypass the Activation Lock. It is an anti-theft measure that has been in place since iOS 7, and it is not going to change. Sorry, but unless your "friend" follows the instructions provided by both Niel and me, you will not be able to use the device. Ever.
Sorry,
