Feb 22, 2016 5:37 AM in response to Lisa K1976by Demo,Are you trying to delete then so that the students can not access them? You can not permanently delete apps from iTunes. They are part of the purchase history that is associated with the Apple ID that was used to purchase those apps. You can hide the apps in iTunes, but not delete them permanently.

Feb 22, 2016 5:45 AM in response to Demoby Lisa K1976,In a perfect world, I would like the apps to disappear for ever...but since that doesn't seem to be an option, I would like to hide them. I can't get the apps to hide.

Feb 22, 2016 5:56 AM in response to Lisa K1976by King_Penguin,You should be able to hide them using your computer's iTunes using the link in Demo's post - there is a bug in iTunes so the 'x' might not show on an app's top left corner when you hover your mouse pointer over the app, but clicking there should still hide the app

Feb 22, 2016 6:25 AM in response to Lisa K1976by Lisa K1976,Thanks for both of you...I have tried the steps listed in the link and nothing seems to be working. There isn't an 'x' showing up and nothing happens when I try to click in the upper left corner.
Just frustrated but thanks again.

Feb 22, 2016 6:47 AM in response to Lisa K1976by Demo,King Penguin has your situation well in hand, but I thought that I Would chime in just because I didn't want you to think I abandoned you. I would just keep trying - or quit iTunes, reboot your Mac and then try again. It should work as King Penguin has described it to work.
