Feb 23, 2016 9:01 AM in response to Jer2015by alex_h1,Hi there Jer2015,
It sounds like you are seeing an extra drive when you hold option and boot your computer, that will start the Windows installation again when selected. That sounds to me like you still have the USB drive plugged in with the ISO installation files on it. All you should need to do is unplug it from the computer and it should no longer be an option.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

Sep 6, 2016 7:59 AM in response to alex_h1by Exoma,Unfortunately that isn't the case. This is actually a bug in OSX Boot Camp. It's still unresolved by Apple. Unfortunately when you install Windows from Boot Camp but uninstall without Boot Camp, it will leave a Windows partition there that you cannot remove.

This is not a bug. If you use BCA, the remove must also use BCA, not Disk Utility. This is documented in Boot Camp: Remove Windows from your Mac .
If you have used DU to erase (not remove the partition), reformat it as FAT32 and retry the BCA method as shown in the link.

Sep 6, 2016 8:17 AM in response to Loner Tby Exoma,The partition does not show on Disk Utility anymore so perhaps DU thinks it's been deleted but it hasn't, right?
How do I reformat the partition to FAT32 if it doesn't even show in DU?

Sep 6, 2016 8:59 AM in response to Exomaby Loner T,From Applications -> Utilities -> Terminal, please post the output of the following commands.
diskutil list
diskutil cs list
sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0
The "sudo" command will prompt you for your password, which will not be echoed back to you.

Not quite sure what I need to do next. I have both OSX and Win10 installed on my computer. I also have an extra Windows option in the boot up that I can choose. I'm trying to get rid of that.

Sep 6, 2016 2:14 PM in response to Exomaby Loner T,1. Your Windows Installer (OSXRESERVED) should have been deleted, if Windows installation was successful.
2. You have Windows Recovery (disk0s6). Was Windows installation completed successfully?
