In Preview, can I listen to sound files in an interactive pdf?

We have made a huge interactive pdf in InDesign, with text and sound and video files. They play back well both in Acrobat Reader on imac and on a PC with Acrobat Pro. The file also opens in the Preview app on imac but then the sound files and video files are not possible to open. Does anyone know if there is a functionality for listening to sound files in the Preview app, or is Acrobat Reader the only way?
