Q: Problem with iphone 5s speaker

Hello, this is Hyerim.

My iphone 5s has a problem with speaker starting from today's morning.

Call is still working and when I plugged in earphone, the sound is still come out.

I bought applecare for this phone, so could I get service with free?

Please let me know.

Hello there helimi1,

it sounds like your speaker isn't playing any audio at all. I would use the troubleshooting in the following article since it is about that exact sort of issue:

If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker

It does sound like a hardware problem and I expect that Applecare would cover it. The only way to be sure is to contact Apple directly.
