13-inch Macbook pro laptop; mid-2012 model. GHJKL keys not working. Al other keys are working. Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Have you tried to log into another user? Does the keyboard work there?
Have you tried booting into safe mode? Does the keyboard work there?
If neither of those work... Sounds like your keyboard has failed. You can take it into Apple and have them diagnose it.

Well you have a failure somewhere in the keyboard. It is complex of layers, and not easily repaired if at all.
Your best bet is to take it in, with the expectation of a new top case/keyboard replacement.

Well,
It is a mid-2012 model, and I checked the warranty status using my serial number, and it is out-of-warranty now.
The laptop is in India with my family, so not sure if I can make a Genius reservation in India?
I believe I will have to try the different suggestions listed here to see if it will work.
