No bootable device

After successfully partitioning my MacbookPro (13 " mid 2009) for windows 7 i needed to create another boot usb on bootcamp for a friend and now windows will not start up. Truthfully I'm only assuming that this was the cause. i am open to suggestion. I hold the option key on start up and the windows drive doesn't show! In disk utility its still there shown as BOOTCAMP and the files inside.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2009), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

I am not sure at all as to what you did. You tried to create a bootable usb using bootcamp? Here is what apple says. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203909 Do you still have install media for windows? You may need to reinstall using bootcamp. Is your friend running on a Mac? Bootcamp, when run, creates the partition and file system to run windows.
