Need a sales receipt

I received an email from the Apple Retail Store after I made a purchase unfortunately the receipt was never attached but I did nothing.

Now I need that receipt because the item is defective and need to apply for the warranty, how can I get that receipt?

Some purchases online or ahead of visit to the Apple Store may yield an email invoice;

if that happened to be the case, you'd print the emailed invoice. However it would seem

an actual receipt from the Store you visited in person, would be included with purchase.

As suggested, contact the Store you visited; refer to the product package for identifiers

and if you used a credit or other payment card, that also should have provided a receipt.

So depending on the evidence you have of the sale, and the person who helped you in

the Store, you shouldn't have difficulty. As time goes by, these details get sketchy, so it

is advised to check to see if the product appears in your Apple purchases online. The

item should appear there even if you did not purchase extended AppleCare as will the

serial number.

Good luck! 🙂
