Q: thanks for messing up a perfectly functioning iPhone  had to restore 3 times to get it to work again

Sat down for a fast upgrade.  crapped out half way through .  had to restore it 2 more times to get it to take.  now its showing 2 hours to restore it to the last backup  done before the upgrade  great job apple.  i really like being without my only phone for 3 hours trying to stay current with all your changes.  A completely "stock" phone with no issues and plenty of space available.  an up to date iMac and iTunes an up to date iphone6 and iTunes said it couldn't update it so now I'm waiting to restore it to where it was when i trusted your update!!!!    3 hours wasted and without a phone.   Please explain that if you can!!!  ???

Apple is not here. This is a user to user technical support forum. Your profile indicates that your device was running iOS 8.3. Is that correct? If it is, then it is going to take some time to upgrade to 9.2.1....several updates have occurred between 8.3 and 9.2.1.

Updates take time. Occasionally they run into issues (especially when you are doing them OTA). It doesn't matter how current you are, OTA updates are subject to the fluctuations of Wifi speeds and connectivity. Most of the time when I have issues with any sort of streaming process, it is because of Time Warner, not because of Amazon, Outlook, Apple, or anyone else depending on the speed and capacity of my internet connection.

Sorry you had trouble, but sometimes it happens....

    Cheers,
