Q: macbook pro not detecting bootable usb in bootcamp
Hi I have been trying to install bootcamp for quite sometime now I have overcome a great deal of error messages however i feel i am getting close!
My current issue is that once in windows 7 installation prompt is says it cannot find drivers for windows even though drivers have been installed to a connected usb via boot camp assistant. the usb with the drivers do not seem to be detected at all when in windows installation.
I am now trying to clean reinstall el capitan to delete the partition made by bootcamp and try again. however it wont let me erase my HD while using disk utility in recovery mode and it will not detect a bootable usb I made of the El capitan Installer Iso Using Terminal.
When holding the option key in startup it only shows my my HD and Recovery HD however no usb devices.
when holding the c key in startup it says no bootable drive detected.
I burned my windows 7 iso to a DVD, is it possible to burn both drivers and windows 6 iso onto a single dvd? or perhaps some other way i can get the drivers installed?
any recommendations on how i could get windows installed via bootcamp once and for all? any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks so much My computer is an A1226 Macbook pro 3, 1
MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)
