Q: 138gb of movies show in 'about this Mac', yet hardly any movies show in 'Finder'

My "About This Mac" shows 138 gb taken up by movies, yet when I search for movies in Finder, there are only a handful, which would explain only a fraction of the 138gb. I checked iTunes account and could not find any substantial storage either. I run OS X version 10.11.3 on a 2010 Macbook pro and my 500 Gb SATA is almost full. This triggered me into checking the 138gb volume... how can I find out more info about the 138gb?

That program that generates the display has a bug in it and should not be relied upon. Often a Spotlight reindex will correct it:

It will sort your files by size and show you where they are being used.
