Q: using Garage Band with V-Drums to trigger sampled sounds

Is it possible to connect a Roland V-Drum TD-10 kit via MIDI to a MacBook with Garage Band to trigger sampled sounds that are on the laptop as .wav files? If so, can you tell me how to do this or direct me to documentation in order to accomplish this? I have a bunch of sampled sounds from an old Simmons electronic drum kit that I would like to trigger to play from the pads of the TD-10 electronic drum kit. I'm thinking I will have to map the correct sampled sounds to the right drum pads as well (bass drum, toms, snare). Thanks for your help!
