Q: iPhone 6 Plus no longer plays music in car while connected to lightning cable. Worked just fine yesterday. Still charges, but says, "Accessory may not be supported."

Hi everyone. I just got a new car this past weekend and I have been playing music through my car through my iPhone 6 Plus. It's been connected to my car's USB port with the lightning connecter charger. It has played flawlessly for the past three days, but this morning, I plugged it in and was greeted with, "This accessory may not be supported" message. The phone still charges, though, but won't play music through my car. I have done nothing differently this morning than I have done for the past few days. Just plug it in and it starts playing. Now the music plays through the iPhone speakers and won't transmit to my car.

Has anybody else had this sort of issue where it just stops working suddenly one day with no explanation? The cable is fine - I actually went out and bought it the same day as my car. It's an official Apple lightning connector, too. iPhone is running the absolute most up to date OS right now. I just checked in Settings to make sure.

iPhone 5, Other OS, iOS 7
