Fresh/blank start with iTunes on Windows 10.

I have over 3000 music files in Windows 10. How do I start with a fresh iTunes and import only the folder I choose.

PC, Dual Core, 4GB,

Open iTunes. Press Ctrl+B to show the Menu bar, which is hidden by default.


First, in the Menu bar, click Edit and then Preferences. On the Advanced page, have a look at the top two options. I normally have both of them turned off, as I manage the folder structure of my music collection myself and I do not wish iTunes to do this for me in any way.


Now, in the Menu bar, click on File and then Add Folder To Library. Select the folder which you wish to add and you are done.
