difficulty reading WSJ on iPad-cookies?

I'm having difficulty reading the Wall Street Journal on my iPad. I sign onto wsj.com. I'm able to read one article. The iPad forgets that I've signed on. To read a second article, I have to sign on again. Are cookies involved?

Note: I had no problems before the latest iOs release. Is it possible to load a prior iOs release?

iPad, iOS 9.2.1

Hi, stirling-dad.

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.

I understand The Wall Street Journal will not retain your account credentials in Safari. You can adjust the Safari settings for cookies and Keychain via the first link below, but the best option would be to utilize their free application optimized for the iPad. Take a look at the second link below for details on this application.

Dave,

Thank you for the follow-up. While this behavior may be expected with this website, I would start with clearing all Safari data and then make sure that you set block cookies to Allow from Websites I Visit. You can also enable iCloud Keychain to save your login information with the steps in the article below. Also, make sure to enable any options to keep you signed in.
