Macbook 2007

I got a Macbook 2007 for Christmas and i wanted to get logic pro X for it but it wont let me download it and it wont let me update either, i spoke to my tutor about it and thinks that i might just need a new ram but i dont know any ideas how i get logic pro X onto my macbook
