Q: Can I connect a wireless modem to my Airport Extreme base station via ethernet and then connect that modem via ethernet to my tv for nexflix?

Hi,

I want to connect my TV to my Airport Extreme via ethernet so I can run Netflix. Can I just plug it in? Or, if it doesn't reach, can I use an old router as a bridge by connecting it to the Airport via ethernet cable and then connecting the router to the TV?

Thanks,

Lisa

    Yes.

Yes. That is also possible, but just using an Ethernet switch instead of a router would be a better solution. The important thing is the total distance of the Ethernet run between the Extreme and the TV. Ethernet is limited to 100 m (328 ft)
