Airdrop isn't working between MacBook Pro and iPad / iPhone with latest OS!!
I tried also between iPhone and iPad and isn't working as well ... any hints?
PS. it was working before between MacBook and iPad on previous OS Yosemite.
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)
Airdrop seems to be inconsistent at best. Try again later.
After long discussions with Apple support teams, we discovered that Airdrop works well when logging as a guest .. so solution is to delete all preferences on your MAC from your main account then restart the MAC and login normally; this solved my issue!
