Q: Weird permissions going on

I have two subfolders in the same folder. One i can move from one folder to another, the other i can only copy.

When i look at the permissions there is something strange going on. I have for instance two times a "everyone" and this second everyone seems to overrule the other. I cannot change the permission of this wrong "everyone" group and i also cannot delete it ("not enough permission").

I was hoping maybe batchmod would do the trick but that only changes the "normal" user and groups but not the additional ones...

Can anybody help? On photo1 you see how it should be and on photo2 you see how it is on the folders that i cannot move but only copy...

User File Ownership - Reset   see post by Linc Davis

You may need to rebuild permissions on your user account. To do this, boot to your Recovery partition (holding down the Command and R keys while booting) and open Terminal from the Utilities menu. In Terminal, type:  ‘resetpassword’ (without the ’s), hit return, and select the admin user. You are not going to reset your password. Click on the icon for your Macs hard drive at the top. From the drop down below it select the user account which is having issues. At the bottom of the window, you'll see an area labeled Restore Home Directory Permissions and ACLs. Click the reset button there. The process takes a few minutes. When complete, restart.

Mmm, does this also work if the volume that contains these folder is a Promise Vtrak...?

Can you rebuild the permissions these kind of volumes?
