I am running OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 on my Macbook, and recently had a notification badge appear on my FaceTime app in my dock, even though I had no new missed calls. I tried clearing all of the history within the app, force quitting the app, restarting my computer, and force quitting the Dock from the Activity Monitor. The notification finally went away when I tried force quitting from the activity monitor, but the next time I restarted my computer, the notification badge was there again. None of the previously attempted solutions worked this time, and I am unable to find additional suggestions. Does anybody know how to fix this?? The badge makes me crazy and I really do not want to wait to see someone in an Apple store if it is something I can fix on my own
