Q: iTunes does not respond to account login

Hi All,

 

Last night iTunes on my 2011 Air stopped responding at all to any controls or to successful account logins.  I have entered my credentials correctly numerous times; however, there is no error message and no reaction from iTunes. It simply ignores the login and stays logged out.

 

Everything else on the machine works perfectly and iTunes worked fine until last night.

 

Ideas? Thanks!
