Q: Mouse is stuck on a late 2015 27" iMac!

Rest the PRAM, still stuck.

System is active, can access screen and navigate with keyboard.

Anyone know what to attempt next other than buying a PC?

Macs are very frustrating when having issues.

Apple help is like buying Powerball tickets.

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015), OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

No need to be snarky or cynical. A very quick Google search yielded

What did the Apple support staff have you do to resolve the problem???

If you are still under warranty and/or have AppleCare, the techs will stay on the phone w/you until the matter is resolved or recommend to bring your comp in for service.  Since you have an iMac, you are entitled to onsite service.

If you are unsatisfied w/the techs suggestions, you need to either escalate the matter or ask to be transferred to Customer Relations.
