Feb 25, 2016 6:58 AM in response to JimmyCMPITby Pchild,I've done that already, that sets the permanent start up disk for both windows and osx. If i switch it to OSX, it changes the start up disk in windows to osx as well. And in windows if i change it to windows it changes it in OSX.

Feb 25, 2016 7:14 AM in response to Pchildby JimmyCMPIT,the other possibility is you have Windows set to reboot into Mac OS
in your tray select the bootcamp control panel pop up and in the contextual menu and change the boot disk.
if this does not fix it:
On the Mac are you doing this in an administrative account or a standard account? Try admin if you are using standard.
When you see the Windows partition in startup disk is it "blessed" meaning do you see a windows icon on the disk or just a plain disk or folder?

CSound1 is correct. If you are in OSX you have to choose what you want to boot. Same thing if you are in Windows. It's easier just to use the option key.
