QuickTime 7 Pro

I bought the Quick Time 7 Pro for PC to record from my iPad. I do not get the new record button and I can't open any files. So far this seems to be an ongoing problem and I am very disappointed in trying to contact Apple for any support.

I get error code 1856: an unknown error

I was on a timeline for work and that is why I purchased it tonight. The Website states clearly about recording from the iPad.

Somehow I found an upgrade and have this fixed.

Now I don't have a new video record.

I bought this specifically to video record my iPad. In the manual it says video is just for MAC, but that is not said in the advertising.

Disappointed in Apple.

I have spent all night trying to accomplish a project for work and Apple has failed me with misleading advertising.

I had trusted them and their product to work as advertised.

"QuickTime 7 Pro can convert your media to different formats, so you can watch a movie or video on your iPhone, iPod, and Apple TV. You can also use QuickTime 7 Pro to record video and share everything you make with friends and family.*"

Of course, now I see the * at the end of the copy. Very clever of Apple..........Thinking twice about buying the watch.
