The version on my iPhone 6s is ios 9.0.2 but it does not have the "Move Data from Android" option that allows me to move data to my iPhone 6. How do I correct this so the option appears?

See this support article. If you did not select the Move From Android option while you were setting up the new device, then you will have to erase it and set it up again (see Step 1):

Thank you kindly for your response. Gail unfortunately when I reach the Apps and Data screen, I only get 3 options i.e. restore from iCloud; back up from iTunes and Set up as new phone. Would you happen to know how I get the Move Data from Android option to appear as a 4th option?

And your Android and iPhone are both connected to both Wifi and to Power?

Both Android and iPhone are connected to wifi (same wifi network) but not connected to a power source at present (however both are fully charged).

Yeah - according to the support article they must be connected to power. So, I would try that first to see if that fixes the issue.
