I Am so frustrated, I have been an Apple user since 2002.... i know it's a simple question, when having to erase photos from device to free up space, does that automatically delete them from iCloud? I don't mind erasing photos to free up space as long as I still have them backed up in iCloud can anyone clarify the process for me?? Thank you!!

When you delete a photo or video from your Photos app, it will also delete from your iCloud Photo Library and iCloud storage. You can recover your photos and videos from the Recently Deleted album for 30 days.
i am just trying to find a way of having more space available on my iPhone 6s Plus. I am constantly running out of space on my iphone 6s Plus. I was unable to get anything larger than 16 gig. I back up all of my photos to one drive and Google photo and lastly to Amazon Prime. So what would you suggest to do to free up much needed space???
