Can I use iTunes match with my Android version of apple music

So I am only allowed to have an android phone through work, all other devices I own are apple, I want to use my songs through apple music, and my iTunes account. If I purchase apple match can I access it through apple music on my android device?

I have searched high and low on the internet, but can't seem to find a definitive answer, and don't want to purchase iTunes match if it doesn't work.

I have my iPod classic, but want to use Bluetooth through my car stereo, and this looks the best option.

I am also already a full paying subscriber to apple music.

Thanks for any assistance.

Hi,

The Apple Music app on Android cannot be used without a full Apple music subscription, but Apple music subscription actually contains iTunes match. If you enable iCloud library on itunes, it will upload your iTunes library to the cloud or match your iTunes tracks to the iTunes store ones, and they will appear in the app. No need for iTunes match in this case.

Another solution : upload your iTunes tracks to Google play music with Chrome or the separate music manager app from Google.

Other solution : upload your music to Amazon music or Microsoft's Groove if you happen to pay for enough storage on these services. Both have nice apple and Android apps.

Last solution : if your music is not added to your library through apple music (i.e. purchased or added manually in iTunes), you only have to sync your ~/Music/iTunes Media/Music folder to your Android device with the free Google Android Transfer Mac app, with the good'ole cable.

Hope this helps.

Hello Davnkaz,
I understand that you would like to get your music from iTunes on your Android phone. That is something that you can do with Apple Music for Android.
I would start with taking a look at the article below to go over how to use the Apple Music app for Android to get your content. If you have iCloud Music Library turned on in iTunes then it will show up on your Android phone. I would also make sure that you are running Android 4.3 to be able to install the app. Take a look at the article below for more details. Don't forget that if you have not signed up for Apple Music, you can start a trial for 90 days to see if this will be a good fit for you.
