safari on my iphone 6s has blocked me out and is asking me to pay a fine of 100 pounds is this a virus or do i have to pay the fine with a paysafe voucher like it suggests

I was on my iPhone safari and on a website that does have ads, I dropped my phone and I accidentally pressed on some sort of ad, I didn't know what ad I pressed but when I looked at it again I got a large message, stopping me from using safari, and it says I am violating some sort of law and I need to pay a 100 pound fine it gives you the option only to click ok, then lets you know how to pay via a PaySafe voucher and that I need to type in a voucher code, it even tells me where to get these vouchers, is this some sought of virus or malware or is it the real thing with a real fine that I need to pay? if it is fake how do I get rid of it?
