Dvd pro 4 keeps crashing when I try to open my save file for my project.

I have already made numerous versions of my project and burnt them onto a dvd. I use the same file to make my menus and to burn. Now everytime I open up my dvd project, it crashes. I have restarted my computer numerous times and have even tried making a new save file from scratch. It either crashes or it won't load my compressed file. I have no clue what to do at this point other than uninstalling dvd pro 4 and reinstslling it. Which I want to avoid at all costs. Any ideas?
