dvd was not accepting
hi, there was a problem of inserting dvd in to dvd player in mac book pro, but it was accepting blank dvd but not data filled dvd. please give any solution to this.

Try cleaning the drive with a CD/DVD cleaning disk.

If still problem then it seems the optical drive failed.
If that is the case y can replace it or get an external USB optical drive. The Apple USB SuperDrive will not work.
External drive with their own power support and are tray loaded are better/more reliable than a slow-loading one
