Q: Yosemite Slow, dock unresponsive, programs not working
Hello All,
Was running El Capitan.
Dock was popping up very slow or not at all while in any program, Safari seemed to be the worst. If I move very slowly into the dock it seems as though it will pop up correctly, but very fast it does not. Now as I write this it appears to be working again but only if i move slowly into the pop up dock area. GRRRRRRRRR. I can deal with this now that it is working again.
Moving on to other issues...... several programs (not all) do not have the ability to hide. I can't use a shortcut command or the drop down (its grayed out). And yes I am in the program.
Today I decided to troubleshoot. The App Store had an update for me so I did that. Restart computer and now I am in Yosemite?
What happened? At this point I don't care what iOS Im in, I just want simple computer operations to work correctly.
I've gone into settings for safari, I've gone into system preferences for the mac. I've restarted. no good. what the heck is going on?
Computer is only a couple months old.
