Q: BootCamp partition not showing after attempt to install Windows 10

Hi,

I am trying to install Windows 10 onto my mid-2014 MacBook Pro 13in Retina running OS X El Capitan.  I have a 500Gb hard drive and using Bootcamp I was attempting to partition the hard drive to give 110Gb to the Windows install. However, the MacBook shutdown very close to the end of the partition and restarted in OS X.

I went into Disk Utility and the Windows partition is not showing, however I am now down to 389Gb capacity on my hard drive.  The 110Gb is nowhere to be seen.

I restarted the Mac and pressing Alt I managed to see that the option was available to begin the Windows setup.  However mid-way through this setup the Bootcamp Partition Drive was not available to select.

Does anyone have any ideas where the 110Gb has gone and how to get it back??  It would be good just to get the hard drive space back at least for the moment.

I found a couple of other threads which asked for this info below so hope it might help too.
