Adaptors to the local plug standards, the voltage will be fine.

The plugs where you are going are different from the one on your Mac, you will need an adaptor for that, usually available at Airports.

Your Macbook Pro power adapter works on voltages from 100-240 Volts A.C. and 50/60 Hz.
