how do i add a device to my apple id account?

I have an iPhone thats listed on my apple id account. I was wondering if anyone knows how to add another device on apple. I want to add my mac book.

You need to sign in with your Apple ID to iCloud on the device you want to add. In the case of the MacBook Sign in to iCloud under System Preferences->iCloud, and turn on Find My Mac.

Can you clarify where it is that you are seeing your iPhone listed? Is it your Apple Profile page, iCloud? Find My iPhone? Devices in iTunes? There are several places where your devices are reflected, so would need to know what you are specifically looking at that you want to add your Mac to.
